Everything Recycled

Paper Recycling In Edinburgh and the Greater Glasgow Area

Our customers often ask us what we do with their paper once it’s been shredded in one of our mobile shredding vehicles or at our depot.

All shredded is baled by us using our modern, in house baling equipment.

We deliver these bales of shredded paper to a Scottish paper mill where they are unloaded into a secure storage area.

They are then loaded on to a conveyor and fed into a machine called a Hydropulper and mixed with water to form a slurry.

This slurry is then passed through a four stage screening process to remove metals, plastics, polythene and any other contaminants.

The cleaned slurry is then fed into a machine that makes it into tissue suitable for conversion into various low grade tissue products such as blue roll, toilet roll and kitchen roll.
